Well I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this: The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Well your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya She tied you to her kitchen chair And she broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah But baby I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor You know, I used to live alone before I knew ya And I've seen your flag on the marble arch And love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Well there was a time when you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show that to me do ya But remember when I moved in you And the holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Maybe there's a God above But all I've ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya And it's not a cry that you hear at night It's not somebody who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Songwriters: Leonard Cohen Hallelujah lyrics © Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC

In order to believe in a new source of power in our lives we either must suspend or lose what we believe when we work the second step for the first time. What we believe when we come to our first meeting was taught to us by others who may have been misinformed. Often many us say to ourselves I already believe and try to move on to step three only to find we struggle with turning our will and our lives over to a power greater then ourselves. The struggle is not the decision in step three, the struggle is what we believe. It is important to study other beliefs and make a decision on our own. If we come back to what we originally believed then "Praise be to God". A path is formed by walking.
A problem is a problem only when you think it is a problem. In the perspective of your Soul, every problem is an opportunity to achieve a Higher Consciousness. An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus and keep aiming. Both faith and fear might sail into your harbour, but it’s your harbour and you decide who gets to drop anchor. Don't worry... Just breathe... If it's meant to be, it will find a way. "Whatever joy you seek, it can be achieved by yourself; whatever misery you seek, it can be found by yourself." (Bhutanese proverb)
“Enlightenment, or Nirvana, is nothing other than the state beyond all obstacles, in the same way that from the peak of a very high mountain one always sees the sun. Nirvana is not a paradise or some special place of happiness, but is in fact the condition beyond all dualistic concepts, including those of happiness and suffering.
When all our obstacles have been overcome, and we find ourselves in a state of total presence, the wisdom of enlightenment manifests spontaneously without limits, just like the infinite rays of the sun. The clouds have dissolved, and the sun is finally free to shine once again.” ―Namkhai Norbu, Dzogchen: The Self-Perfected State “And Death is not real, even in the Relative sense — it is but Birth to a new life — and You shall go on, and on, and on, to higher and still higher planes of life, for aeons upon aeons of time. The Universe is your home, and you shall explore its farthest recesses before the end of Time. You are dwelling in the Infinite Mind of THE ALL, and your possibilities and opportunities are infinite, both in time and Space. And at the end of the Grand Cycle of Aeons, when THE ALL shall draw back into itself all of its creations — you will go gladly, for you will then be able to know the Whole Truth.”
